PlayArts Summer Camp at PlayArts Pop-Up at the Piazza provides unique arts instruction for children ages 4-5 with new themes, projects, field trips, and lead teaching artists each week. Located at the new PlayArts Pop-Up at the Piazza space, each week will explore theme-based visual and performing arts and include plenty of outdoor play time.

 
 
 
 
 

Campers will dive into exciting weekly themes while exploring art-making with new materials, inspiration, and collaborators. Typical mornings will be spent exploring themes and ideas through games and group activities. We will travel to a nearby park each day, and return to the space for lunch and relaxation time. Most afternoons, campers will work on larger projects or performances to be completed by the end of the week. 

We are happy to partner with local businesses for exciting field trip activities each week! Campers will walk to a variety of local partners to explore the arts of silk screening, cooking, gardening, music recording, and more! Specialists in each artistic field will lead workshops to bring further inspiration to our campers.

PlayArts Pop-Up at the Piazza is a beautiful new space in Northern Liberties at 1024 N. 3rd Street. This space is perfect for young campers with access to an outdoor patio space, soft flooring, natural light, and a nearby park. This location will provide a safe space that allows for age-appropriate groupings and activities, and adventures to nearby businesses for exciting field trips! The Northern Liberties location will also allow for water play at the Piazza spray grounds!

 
 

    • Early Bird (Before April 1): $395 / week

    • April 1 & After: $440 / week

    • *Week 3 Prorated: No Camp Thursday, July 4th or Friday, July 5th ($237 Early Bird / $264 Normal)

    After registering, you will receive an invoice within 24 hours.

    To keep costs low, we accept payment in the form of ACH bank transfer (online) or with check (delivered in person-please do not send by mail). To pay with credit card a 3% transaction fee applies. Payments that are not received within 5 days will result in a cancellation of your registration.

  • This year AfterCare will run 3:00pm - 5:30pm

    • AfterCare: $125/week

    • Single Day AfterCare enrollment will open in June. If your family needs After Care for a single day, please inform our staff 48 hours in advance to be registered. Single Day AfterCare is $30. Email schoolage.playarts@gmail.com

    After Care is only for children enrolled in Full Day Care - NO DROP INS. Refunds will not be issued if you purchase extended care without full day care.

    Late registrations (day of) for AfterCare will be charged an additional $5.

    • 3 - 4 Weeks = 5% off with code FIVEPERCENT

    • 5+ Weeks = 10% off with code TENPERCENT

    • The deadline for cancelling your child’s camp enrollment for PlayArts credit is May 1, 2024. Cancellations made after this date will be for 50% of tuition as PlayArts credit. No refunds within two weeks of registered camp week start date.

    • In the event that your child tests positive for COVID-19 and you provide staff with documentation of a positive test result, you will receive an account credit for each missed camp day.

    • AfterCare is for children enrolled in Full Day Care - NO DROP INS. Refunds will not be issued if you purchase extended care without full day care.
