Baby jam is back
Back by popular demand, PlayArts is so excited to partner with Ninth Planet for another Philly Baby Jam!
Ninth Planet’s “Philly Baby Jam” is a performance installation for children 0-18 months and their caregivers. Designed for infants, crawlers, cruisers, and early toddlers, PBJ supports gross motor skills and socio-emotional development through dance, music and play. Families will enjoy the vocal explorations of Elle.Morris as performers offer gentle invitations of movement and discovery. PBJ creates a safe and playful environment where babies are encouraged to explore and follow their curiosities in this space made just for them!
Space is very limited, and we expect it to sell out— get your tickets early!

PBJ is created by theatre artists and educators from Ninth Planet, a performance company making experimental theatre that centers people of color, women, queer and trans* people in Philadelphia. We believe that performance is a life-sustaining force for our community, and we are committed to making our work accessible by offering it for free or low-cost in neighborhood spaces. Our shows are designed to activate imagination, self-reflection, and a sense of adventure through the collision of dance, theatre, music, and installation.
