RaLEIGH
Raleigh (she/her) is a long-time summer camp camper and counselor originally from Sugar Hill, Georgia. She graduated from Brenau University with a B.A. in Dance and a minor in Dance/Movement Therapy. During her undergraduate studies, Raleigh taught dance at a local dance studio throughout the school year while also spending several summers as a sleep-away camp counselor at Camp Wicosuta.
Raleigh continued her graduate studies in Dance/Movement Therapy and Counseling at Drexel University, where she worked with a variety of school-based and community populations. She is passionate about engaging students and community members through movement, helping foster awareness of the emotional, social, and physical benefits of dance, play, and embodied presence.
Outside of DMT, she enjoys spending time in nature, playing video and board games, practicing yoga, bullet journaling, and choreographing. She is excited to return to a summer camp environment and begin a new adventure with campers this summer.
