2026-2027 PRICING & TUITION

  • Note to K-5 families: In February, 2026 the Philadelphia School Board voted to eliminate all scheduled early dismissal or “Half Days” from the 2026-2027 calendar. These additional hours have been absorbed into the regular program tuition and pricing has been modified to reflect the additional hours provided. Full Day Camps at Maas will still require separate registration.

    • Tuition Cost: $445/month

      • Includes ALL (179) regularly scheduled program days from 3-6pm

      • Separate registration is only required for Full Day Camps at The Maas Building

  • PlayArts provides structured after school care designed specifically for Pre-K families at Moffet Elementary, with guaranteed Friday coverage all year.

    *Please note: Pre-K program start date is Monday, August 31st, 2026.

    • Afterschool + Early Dismissal Package: $585/month

      Provides consistent coverage every school week — including Fridays and all early dismissals — so families never need to arrange separate care.

      • Consistent staffing. No Friday scramble.

      • Includes all (130) regular Pre-K program days from 3-6pm

      • Includes all (34) early dismissal Fridays, from 1-6pm at your regular school site - No additional registration is required

      • Includes all (6) early dismissal report card conference days

      • 10 month commitment

      • Paid in 10 equal monthly installments

      • No separate registrations

    • Afterschool Only (M-Th): $370/month

      • Includes all (130) regular Pre-K program days Mon-Thu, from 3-6pm; Does not include any Fridays, or report card conference days, which are all early dismissal days.

      • Separate, “By-the-Day” registration will be required for any care needed on half-day early dismissals.

      Note: Each site structures Pre-K care based on enrollment needs and staffing capacity.

PROGRAM INFO

  • A nonrefundable registration deposit of one month’s tuition will be required to hold your child’s spot in the program. This deposit will act as your last payment and will be applied to your final invoice in May if all other payment terms have been met. 

  • Parents & guardians should join the Moffet Remind Group with the code “PLMOFFET”

    Use the Remind app to Communicate:

    • Absences

    • Pick-up Times

    • Shared Photos

    • Lost Items

    • Illness, Minor Injuries, Behavior Issues

    Major injuries, immediate behavior concerns, and other emergencies will be communicated via phone call.

  • Half Day Camps **New Info**: Based on recent changes to the School District calendar to eliminate all K-5 early dismissal days in 2026-2027, PlayArts will no longer offer Half Day Camps at your regular school site. These additional hours have been absorbed into the “regular” program tuition and pricing has been modified to reflect the additional hours provided. Pre-K early dismissal days have not changed at this time.

    Full Day Camps (on days that school buildings are closed for holidays or teacher development) take place at The Maas Building, located at 1320 N 5th St.

    Full Day Camps can be purchased “By-the-Day” or via our “Package Bundle” (Heavily discounted, only have to register once!)

Moffet PlayLoud Daily Schedule

 

2:54-3:30 sign-in & snack

Pre-K - 2nd graders are picked up by PlayArts teachers from their classrooms.

3rd - 4th graders are dismissed normally with Moffet teachers and meet the rest of the students for snack in the Moffet cafeteria.

 
 

3:30-4:00 Outdoor time

Once they have finished eating, students play on the playground and field with staff supervision.

For inclement weather, these activities will be conducted inside.

 
 

4:00-5:15 inside time

While inside, students work on the following, depending on the date:

  • Arts Lessons

  • Homework & Academic Enrichment

  • Games & Free play

 
 

5:15-6:00 play time & pick-up

Warm weather pickup will be conducted from the playground.

Cold/rainy weather pickup will be conducted from the gymnasium.
