Half Day Camps at Adaire, Hackett & Moffet Elementary schools are available to all enrolled students, ages 3-10.

Full Day Camps at Maas are for children ages 5-10. Due to licensing restrictions, we cannot accommodate children younger than 5.

PRE-K-ONLY EARLY DISMISSAL FRIDAYS:

The School District of Philadelphia holds Professional Development for Pre-K teachers every week from 1-3, pm on regularly scheduled Fridays when all other grades are still in session.  PlayArts provides care for our enrolled Pre-K students on these days, and they can be included in your Pre-K regular monthly PlayLoud AfterSchool tuition OR purchased seperately, By-the-Day.

If your afterschool tuition package includes Day Camps, no additional registration or payment is required.

If you need care on select early dismissal days or other days not included in your tuition plan, you can register and pay for Day Camps “By-the-Day.”

You will receive a confirmation email and an invoice after registering and your child’s spot will be held for 24 hours without payment.

Please Note: Registration will be automatically deleted from our system and you will need to re-register if payment is not received within the 24 hour timeframe.

We provide AfterSchool and Half Day Camp tuition assistance for qualified families through the Child Care Works (CCW) program. To learn more and apply online for CCW, please click here.

Registration Policy: Registration closes 48 hours before each Day Camp. Monday camps will close the previous Friday at noon.

All payments must be received within 24 hours of your registration. Registration will be automatically deleted from our system and you will need to re-register if payment is not received within the 24 hour timeframe.

Late registrations for Day Camps or camp aftercare should be sent via email to schoolageprograms@playartsphilly.com. Late registrations impact lesson planning, staffing, and teacher preparation, thus acceptance is at the discretion of our staff. If your late registration is accepted, you will be charged an additional $10 per child as a late fee. 

Cancellation Policy:

• Monthly tuition packages that include Day Camps are already deeply discounted and are not eligible for refunds or account credit for any missed days or cancelations.

• Cancellations for Day Camps purchased “By-the-Day” must be made at least 48 hours in advance to receive a refund in the form of account credit. This credit can be applied to future Full and Half Day Camps. If you do not communicate your cancellation within this timeframe, a credit will not be issued. The only exception for late cancellations is illness.

PLEASE NOTE: Camp dates are based on the currently published 2026-27 Philadelphia School District Calendar. These camp days may change if a new calendar is published.

If a camp you are registered for is cancelled by PlayArts, we will issue a refund in the form of account credit.

Late Pickup Policy: We understand that sometimes late pick-ups are unavoidable, therefore, families are given TWO (2) “free” latenesses (up to 15 minutes late) per school year.

After two latenesses are exhausted, parents will be charged as per our Late Pick-up Policy below:

Families will be charged a late fee of $5 for the first 1–5 minutes after the scheduled pickup time. The fee increases to $10 for 6–10 minutes late and continues to increase in $5 increments for every additional 5-minute period. Late fees will be billed directly via QuickBooks.

• Snack (x2 if your child stays for camp aftercare between 3-6pm)

• Appropriate clothing and shoes for outdoor play
