ASHLEY

Ashley (she/her) is originally from Northern New Jersey; she's lived in several states along the East Coast before happily settling down in Philadelphia. Ashley holds a BS in Fine Arts from The Fashion Institute of Technology and an MS in Creative Arts Therapy from Nazareth College of Rochester.

Ashley’s background is a unique blend of supporting children and families in healthcare settings and working at summer camps for children diagnosed with chronic illnesses. She brings a strong passion for empowerment, trying new things, and helping others express themselves through art-making, firmly believing that everyone can be an artist. In her classes, she loves exploring mixed media and the beauty of nature. When she isn't teaching, Ashley enjoys making jewelry, spending time outdoors, and gardening.

Ashley is thrilled to be a teacher at PlayArts and looks forward to making a meaningful impact on all of her students.
