masterful classes for makers and movers

All classes take place at PlayArts Pop-Up at the Piazza, 1024 N 3rd Street

Your school-aged learner will hone their skills in their favorite art and play forms! Small class sizes allow for close attention from the instructor, as students refine their techniques and build new skills. 8-weeks of instruction will encourage your young learner to enthusiastically engage in the art they love!

Draw & Doodle is an art class where young creatives will explore the fundamentals of 2D visual art. Using illustration, comics, sketching, and inspiration from popular culture, learners will leave the series with a new drawn creation of their own!

Theme: Character Crash Course invites your young artist to design a cast of original characters and build a unique world. We will explore dynamic storytelling and character design, bringing imagination to life! Final projects will highlight their newly designed toy, comic, tv show or movie character.

policies

  • Registration Policy: Series registration only. PlayArts reserves the right to cancel class in the event that insufficient spots are filled (at least 3 students required to run a class).

  • Attendance Policy: Upon registration, your child is enrolled in 8-weeks of class. If your child is going to miss class, please reach out at least 24 hours in advance to receive an account credit in the amount of $30 per class. Your child will not be able to drop in to another class series.

  • Cancellation Policy: Series cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance of first class to receive a refund in the form of account credit. If you do not communicate your cancellation within this timeframe, a credit will not be issued.

  • Discounts Available: If registering for 2+ series or enrolling siblings, please email schoolage.playarts@gmail.com for a discount code before registering.

    Have a younger or older sibling interested in class?
